A Fishing Tale & Other Stories

I went fishing the other day....

But all I got was this...

Mosquito bites everywhere!  Ouch!

It was really nice to escape for a little while and just relax.  And that is what fishing is for me... Relaxing!

On Sunday's after church it is our routine to go on a new hike or geocache.  For two weeks in a row we have enjoyed having some really great friends join us on our hikes.

We have seen many beautiful wildflowers like these....

And we have seen some fantastic scenery

These activities are the things that keep me from doing this....

And also what help me to find balance in my life.

How do you find balance in your life?

I really would like to know. I'm curious!
And I have to write a report on this subject for school.
So please share with me what works for you.

Those are some seriously gorgeous pictures! I keep hearing that Montana has exploded with flowers this year.

What keeps me sane and balanced?
Pulling weeds.
Sick I know.
A clean house is also very calming to me.

I love going for drives with my hubs and heading to the hills with camera in tow.

What are you in school doing?

What absolutely beautiful pictures. I might even enjoy hikes with Gods beauty to enjoy like those places that you have been. What fun you must be having. Having somewhat of a clean house, dishes done, weeds pulled, anything else that needs to be done.

these are beautiful pictures. where were you??

whenever i'm feeling especially tired and worn out i lock myself in my bedroom (or the bathroom in the bath tub) and i read. i read and read and read. i think it's kind of an escape for me. as i read i can put myself in the story and forget my own. sometimes i need to do this.

another think i do is take pictures. i grab my camera and pile the kids in the car (loaded with books and toys) and we drive around and take pictures. out at the lake, up at virginia city, just around the valley. snap snap snap. that soothes me as well.

good luck with your paper!!
