- Have a silent night in your house. Turn off the TV and Music and enjoy your family.
- Send an anonymous thank you note.
- Send a Christmas card to someone in a nursing home who has no family.
- Cook a meal for a weary friend.
- Walk a neighbors dog.
- Babysit for a young couple whose budget is tight.
- Shovel snow from your neighbors sidewalk.
- Smile at a stranger.
- When clearing your windshield of snow and ice, clear the windshield of the car next to you.
- Give to the Salvation Army Kettle.
- Put your shopping cart back into its place
- Let a mother of small children go ahead of you in the grocery line.
- Sneak a note into a friend's stocking to be read on Christmas morning.
- Put something you no longer need on cragslist.com for free.
- Deliver Christmas cookies to the fire or police department.
- Offer your extra tree clippings tro someone who has an artificial tree to add the wonderful scent of pine to their home.
- Phone a faraway relative on Christmas morning.
- Play Christmas music often.
- Be a courteous driver.
- Cuddle your child longer than usual.
- Make sweet rolls and deliver them to your neighbor to be eaten Christmas morning.
- Tape change to a pay phone or vending machine with a note welcoming anyone who needs it to use it.
- Leave the parking space up front from someone else.
- Seek forgiveness from someone you know you might need to.
- Forgive someone who needs it from you.
- Pray for someone you wouldn't normally pray for.
Remember... The Best gift we can give is to give of ourselves.
