Christmas Gifts We Can Give

  • Have a silent night in your house. Turn off the TV and Music and enjoy your family.
  • Send an anonymous thank you note.
  • Send a Christmas card to someone in a nursing home who has no family.
  • Cook a meal for a weary friend.
  • Walk a neighbors dog.
  • Babysit for a young couple whose budget is tight.
  • Shovel snow from your neighbors sidewalk.
  • Smile at a stranger.
  • When clearing your windshield of snow and ice, clear the windshield of the car next to you.
  • Give to the Salvation Army Kettle.
  • Put your shopping cart back into its place
  • Let a mother of small children go ahead of you in the grocery line.
  • Sneak a note into a friend's stocking to be read on Christmas morning.
  • Put something you no longer need on for free.
  • Deliver Christmas cookies to the fire or police department.
  • Offer your extra tree clippings tro someone who has an artificial tree to add the wonderful scent of pine to their home.
  • Phone a faraway relative on Christmas morning.
  • Play Christmas music often.
  • Be a courteous driver.
  • Cuddle your child longer than usual.
  • Make sweet rolls and deliver them to your neighbor to be eaten Christmas morning.
  • Tape change to a pay phone or vending machine with a note welcoming anyone who needs it to use it.
  • Leave the parking space up front from someone else.
  • Seek forgiveness from someone you know you might need to.
  • Forgive someone who needs it from you.
  • Pray for someone you wouldn't normally pray for.

Remember... The Best gift we can give is to give of ourselves.
